Marc Depaepe: Experimental pedagogy, reform pedagogy and the pedagogy in practice The author describes the connection between experimental pedagogy and reform pedagogy through the example of the Verheyen Zaventum experimental school. As a theoretical basis, he demonstrates the for emphasis difference between experimental pedagogy and the pedagogical experiment. Depaepe, based on analysis of the situation in Flanders in the inter-war period, demonstrates how improvements in reform pedagogy slowly faded away. He presents the incompatible elements of Catholic education and reform pedagogy together with their causal connections. Verheyen's works are remarkable because they incorporate the positive elements of the experimental and reform pedagogical approaches. A description of school practice demonstrates the realisation of there goals step by step. MAGYAR PEDAGÓGIA 100. Number 1. 17-32.
