Endréné Réthy: The education of children with special needs in the European Union: the oretical and practical issues Based on the review of the literature, this article gives an overview of the complex issues of integration and inclusion, highlighting the differences between the two approaches and the diversifying routes to development in Western Europe. The process and trend-like nature of inclusion and the complex conditions of its implementation are emphasized. Current debates are also exposed to encourage discussion among Hungarian professionals.
